Attribute
A fact about an identity — name, email, department — owned by exactly one authoritative source and read by many systems.
Attributes are the raw data that describes an identity: who owns each one, who is allowed to update it, and where it lives are core design questions for any identity program. A well-run system never lets two sources silently disagree about the same attribute.
